Chem Warehouse Attendant

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop a positive relationship with customers and co-workers.
  • Assist customers in loading crop protection products, ensuring all shipping documents are accurate and complete. Following all regulations for shipment of dangerous good and restricted products.
  • Prepping bulk and packaged crop protection products for delivery trucks to custom
    application equipment.
  • Load and unload bulk and packaged crop protection products ensuring all associated documentation is correct, including bills of ladings, shipping documents and invoices are accurate. Verify the correctness of receipts against bills of ladings or other records, check for shortages, identify damaged goods etc. Note date and time on all receiving documentation. Reporting any discrepancies to a supervisor as soon as possible.
  • Ensure warehouse and workspaces are kept clean, tidy, & organized.
  • Communicating product inventories as needed to supervisor.
  • Operate location equipment, such as forklift, safely. Performing the daily required
    equipment safety checks.

Candidate Will Possess or Be Willing to Achieve the Following Qualifications:

  • Experience in agricultural logistics and/or operations would be a strong asset
  • Attention to detail
  • Highly organized with the ability to multitask
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and oral, are required to deal with customers, management, and location team members
  • High degree of problem solving to ensure deadlines are met
  • Adaptable to work both independently and as a team
  • Valid driver’s license required
  • Able to work full time hours with extended hours and weekends during peak season.
